Grumble Grumble – The Legend of Zelda

“Grumble, Grumble” (reference noted below) Everyone needs a little 80’s gamer nostalgia, 80’s NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) NOSTALGIA! Warning, this post may not be for everyone, certainly aiming to cover the Golden Ratio – 80/20 split, 20% being the hardcore gamers of the 80s/90’s. Those of you in the 80% or more, fair warning.

For those who had the pleasure of playing the first NES golden catridge, a.k.a The Legend of Zelda… more specifically had your own run in with the Goriya… you’ll remember, in order to pass through the halls of the Angry Goriya, food was the trick. So, finding meat and feeding the beast was truly the only way forward. Between the Goriya trap, other tools of the trade – sword, the boomarang; the flute. I spent along time on this game, way back when. If there was only a way to play the game online (PC) via DLC or SIM… I’d be up for a new adventure, the adventure found in The Legend of Zelda.

You’ll need some NES (this afternoon? tonight? all the time… people it’s THE LEGEND OF ZELDA). Could be a top 10 fan favorite for others, Top 5 of 10 NES games of all time? Might be #1 fan favorite for some, definitely at the top of the heap, may be top 3 or 4 for others.
