Rust @Willjum

Rust

Lab Work – Rust with @Willjum

Rust might be one of the easiest games to watch ‘passively’ when you’ve got content creators like @willjum online and cranking out content. For sake of memorizing all these YouTube channels or creators, ‘willy j’ is how I remember @willjum’s primary YouTube channel. There are others (lots), however, I’d like to highlight @willjum’s in-game experience/play-through, gaming skills, easy listening narration style and pure play-through content; makes for easy watching.

Why willy j? For some it might be classical music, jazz, soul… r&b, audiobooks or just a quiet room; pure silence. Pure silence works for some folks, certainly works for me from time to time! These days, I can’t do the ‘silent treatment’… these days, when working I look to the ‘gamer-verse’ or ‘law-tube’ to help fill in noise, helps keep the daily distractions to a minimum. A must in a work from home situation, sometimes you just need to power through your work, and need a an alternative solution… Rust? Try Rust yet? @Willjum might just be the winning ticket.

A little background, @willjum is a pro-gamer, youtube content creator… 1M+ subs, 280+ videos, my Rust go to. He and his group take on personal challenges, solos and crew PVP; something new everyday. It helps to be good at the game, which I’m not, so yeah, in a pinch (or not, just looking for things that might calm you down and ‘get to work’, @willjum.

Street Fighter Returns

Street Fighter 6(XBox/PC)

SF 30th Anniversary

Lab Work – Steam, XBox, VM Software, Street Fighter And More

It’s time… it’s time we embark on a new adventure, Street Fighter… Parallels (check), Windows 11 (check), Steam (check), Street Fighter… Street Fighter is up and running, first boot, and full go come Monday or Tuesday. It’s been some 20 years since my last go… Emulation and Steam are requirements today. Wayback when, I think it was Street Fighter – Capcom vs SNK; undergrad work. I think we are looking at Street Fighter 6… I’m sure it will be brilliant. We will run the game on Xbox/PC (Asus Mini or MacOS Parallels {Win11 or Linux distro}). Whatever runs better than the other or visa versa.

The point here, I’ll get to it. It’s been 20 plus years since I played my favorite game of all time, the first few were of the ‘all-time variety’, first as a button smasher, to novice, to skilled gamer… I don’t know that I would say gamer, but for purposes of the post, I was the closest thing to the ‘idea of a ST gamer’… perhaps more nostalgia than the least practical ‘legendary’ status.

Anyhow, I think we will tune up the Asus mini, and have a go over the next few days/weeks. We’ve got guitar, printer, ‘on the bench’ fixes and more coming soon… Why not add a college favorite to the mix. We can cover the Asus mini, MacOS Parallels (running Win11 and Linux) while we are at it as well.

Conflict of Nations: WW3

Recommendation – CoN:WW3 – Grab a friend, join the game, conquer the world

Conflict Of Nations:World War 3

#ConflictOfNations:WorldWar3 #iphoneApp #game #gamer

CoN:WWIII – Conflict of Nations World War III is the new app on the street, our street… team up with a friend, make a friendly coalition and conquer the US or the World; long and short (4 hour) games available.

As usual, games are not at the top of the list, but when they do hit my list… it’s on. I’ve teamed up with the Ivy to conquer the world. This is my second go around, where Ivy has been going strong for weeks if not months. More on Clash of Clan shortly, I was just looking for a long term, Stratego/Dune type game wrapped up into a quick, easy to use war game. These days you can
