Adverts – The Value Of Vision
Aim Small, See Beyond; Eyes On Target.
Keep it simple folks, empower those around you, work to improve each and everyday (foundational change, bolstering true value)… learn to master change.
Investing In Your Business
Finding Small Wins, Eyes On The Target, And Focusing On The Next Win
Adverts – Iterative and Incremental, Design, Build, Release
Three simple points to drive home incremental successes, aim small, eyes on target and awareness to see beyond.
Aim small, finding wins that are impactful, can change experience in a positive manner and find the target. In not so many words, CBA, find cost effective ways to improve your customers experience. Eyes on target, bring a focus to your work, understand the value of customer diversity and how those opinions and experiences can improve your products and services in the market.
So, let’s dig into the image for a minute. I understand, you might ask, what is the significance around a stylized eye?. While it’s a illustration, zoomed in on a human right eye… cool colors, hard edges etc. Why an eye, right?
Vision, vision is the take away here. Having the ability to ‘see’, right or wrong, seeing (in some cases, using braille to see as an example). The image works more so for those who have vision issues per say, because the experience and the ability to see ‘value’ in a product or service is the point we are driving home. Do your customers understand the value in your products, service and more specifically the experience they might have when engaging in your product.
Next, understand or having the awareness to see beyond the trials and tribulations day-to-day. Understand the ups and downs in the market, how the ebb and flow takes place, the lifecycle of your product. With the satisfaction of learning from the experience, the challenge; the win. Testing is core to what we feel is the ‘learning’ process, the value gained from focusing on such a test, focusing on that test and learning from the outcome.
Final point, depending on budget, of course we have to understand the cost to such testing. However there are always ways to test your customers, learn from their experiences, understand how those ‘events’ change and/or improve your products lifecycle.

Also, we may flip this into a WDP site, for ease of use, postings and content. We could probably get the core elements up faster than hand coding the site. More to come.

Lefty Textures and Logo Patterns
Lefty Lacrosse
The client was looking for something new, to rebrand the business. After a few rounds of design concepts we landed on this this, the LL reversed leaving the spines of the Uppercase L back-to-back. The logo also depicts the ‘apex’ of the mountain, the highest point, showing elevation to the product and shortened ‘L’ horizontal bar representing the landscape. Additionally, the ‘fire-engine’ red is play-on of his own career at the University Of Massachusetts. Finally, while the logo was a success, as a stand alone design element, we learned overtime, the logo could be used in textures, highlighting elements, high fade/low opacity elements, background designs, and such. Great for rounding out website child pages, and merchandise/lacrosse materials.

Local band in and around DC, known then as The Expanded Form. The Band was looking for new artwork. Giving the illusion and thought of you the viewer caught in the limelight.

Web • Pro/AM Box League • Hosting • CMS Content Management System • DB Database Management • Social/Traditional Media(print • Marketing • Analytics.
This highly anticipated virtual or online league website was all that and more. While competing with juggernauts like Sports Engine, Team Unify (now subsidiary of Sports Engine), the league site brought live play, game clips, in-game video, marketing across ownership/franchisees, media and league updates. A push to present real-time content, pertinent location information and game time(real-time) stats; a preview of what’s to come and archival for those items in the past.
This was an important, evolutionary step for the governing body, the organization including the introduction of new franchise opportunities, teams, communication stability across league resources management teams/leadership and inter-league play. This was the go to broadcasting platform spanning the intercontinental governing body, players, refs and fans both here in the US and Canada abroad.

Staying Power
A brand with staying power, is a brand that has a story to tell, a story other people convey about your product(s) and/or services.
Building a new business is like building a new version of someone, a product or service ‘a glimpse what’s to come’. Branding and marketing aren’t all that different.
We look for attributes and subtle queues to highlight ‘workmanship’, ‘service level agreements’ and ‘niche to mass’ consumption. What we look to communicate is how similar a brand might be to a group people, customers or clients. We look for similarities both in a comparative and competitive system, looking for areas to describe a forthcoming ‘you’ or ‘product’ (insert brand here). Regardless of the ‘you’, the design should reflect ‘you’ and the ‘you’ your clients and customers brands partner with.
